Please note: engraved items take a little extra time - one day, to be exact. Thus, a normal 3-day order will take 4-days. Please allow 1 extra day for engraving 1 to 3 items, 2 extra days for 4 to 8 items, and 3 extra days for 9 items or more. If you're ordering for 20 wedding guests or more, please call us for an updated quote. Due to the cost and time-sensitive nature of our engraved gifts, they're not returnable, exchangeable or refundable.

Initials 101: Some Important Information About Monograms and Initial Designs

Sports-themed gifts, man cave signs, a favorite beverage mug - if it's getting personalized, you'll want to ensure your item is etched correctly. Just a quick note on monogram designs and straight initials:

Circle Monogram and Interlocking Monogram require 3 initials, entered as First-Last-Middle.

Old English, Roman, Century, Script and Victoria Outline fonts will be engraved exactly as marked on the order form. For these specific fonts, engraved initials will appear as First-Middle-Last. Keep in mind, these fonts are not monograms; all of the initials are the same size and are considered "straight" initials.

IMPORTANT! My Groomsmen Gifts reserves the right to change your font style, provided we think our selection will enhance the engraving appearance. If you don't select a font style or forget to do so, we'll automatically pick one for you. Customers will not be notified by email or phone.

Pricing for Engravings

Standard Engraving is $4.00 to $6.50 per item, and is done in one area, on one side, up to 20 characters per item.

Glass/Crystal Engraving, up to 20 characters, is $12.00 a pair, $6.00 per item.

Other Important Initializing Information

Your groomsmen's first name will appear in upper and lower case. Sorry, no character carry-over allowed to another items, even if the first item only has 3 characters. Please call us at 888-381-8869 if your item requires 20 or more characters.

If you want to order more than one piece, be sure to place quote marks before and after the text of each name you want engraved.

If you prefer, you can order each item separately and enter each individual item's engraving information. Both methods work.

Names always take precedence over other information (including dates, notes, etc.), so they're engraved on the first line. All other information will be engraved on the second line.

As stated previously, monogram engraving has your friend's last initial in the center. We will assume that all initials entered are in the correct format.

First-Last-Middle whenever monogram style font is selected.

Location Is Everything, Especially With Engraving!

The final product will not resemble exactly as it appears, in terms of size, appearance or location. It will appear similar to the item pictured. Please contact us with specific requests by email (info@mygroomsmengifts.com). Make sure you include your order number. Requests must be in writing; voicemail messages are not considered. All frames and albums are engraved vertically on the bottom unless otherwise noted by the customer. Sorry, we can't personalize multiple areas of your item. Only one area will be engraved.

Directional Differences

The terms of "vertical" and "horizontal" are bandied about quite frequently when ordering an album or frame. How are they different?

With vertical engraving, your album or frame is meant for standing positions (think "portrait" more - for example: 8x10, 5x7, etc.).

With horizontal engraving, your album or frame is meant for sideways positions (think "landscape" mode - for example: 10x8, 7x5, etc.).

All Your Letters are Lined Up - Time to Place Your Order!

A correctly filled-out order form is absolutely critical, as your groomsmen gift is engraved exactly as it appears on the order form. If a certain letter requires capitalization, please note it correctly. We'll take your information as entered; if your friend's name appears as "JOE SMITH" (all capital letters) on the order form, your product will be engraved in all capital letters.

Wedding preparations can be stressful for the guys, too! Men make mistakes (Don't think so? Just ask your fiancee - she'll set you straight). If you realize you placed your order with a few flaws, just send an email to info@mygroomsmengifts.com. Include any errors and desired corrections. You'll receive a response email confirmation, identifying any updates. Sorry, no voicemails accepted. Any changes must be made in writing. We are not responsible for any changes left on our voicemail or through unconfirmed emails.

We realize that spelling accuracy is critical. Your buddy Don doesn't want a flask etched with Dawn. We can only guarantee correct spelling with online. If you're placing engraving orders by phone, we're not responsible for any spelling errors.
